Find the Gap. Build the Skill. Achieve Mastery.

Math Logic Systems (MLS) is a mathematics learning system for homeschool families and elementary learners. It helps families discover what a child knows, find where a difficulty begins, and choose the next step based on evidence.

Our mission

Math Logic Systems exists to help children grow in mathematical understanding and confidence. We work alongside families to recognize each child's strengths, identify areas where support is needed, and provide a clear path toward meaningful progress and mastery.

How MLS works

Each skill follows the same cycle, so every recommendation can be traced back to what the child actually did.

  1. AssessA short, age-appropriate activity
  2. ObserveParents record what they saw, not a diagnosis
  3. AnalyzeLook for the missing prerequisite skill
  4. PracticeTargeted activities for that skill
  5. ReassessCheck the skill again
  6. DecideMove on, keep practicing, or try another approach

Where we are now

MLS is preparing its first Kindergarten counting and number materials for a small pilot with founding homeschool families in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. Pilot results will be used to improve the materials before any wider release.

We're looking for a reviewer. MLS is seeking an experienced Kindergarten or early-elementary mathematics educator, including retired teachers, for paid, part-time curriculum review: about 5–10 hours a week on a flexible schedule.

Every child learns differently, and MLS does not promise that every activity will work for every learner. Difficulties are treated as useful information.
